Virgin Trains Production Workshop
Overview
A major new engine and carriage contract from
Virgin Cross Country meant that international train makers
Bombardier Transportation needed to invest in a new production
facility and a significant upgrade of the company’s existing
site infrastructure.
JLC project managed the design and construction
of a new 200m long assembly workshop together with a range of
infrastructure projects. The building and site alterations were
completed within nine months and the client raised JLC’s ability
to respond quickly, precisely and effectively to its needs.
